Hailing from So Cali's section 805. DJ Xist began in 87 after getting his first pair of Turntables and a Numark 1650. By High School he began djing house parties and clubs around his local area. In 1997 DJ Xist began entering DJ battles throughout Southern California. Some battles include: 1997 911 Battle, 1997 Rap Sheet Battle Finals, 1998 Import Showoff Finals, 2000 Guitar Center Finals, 2000 L.A. Elements Final 4, 2001 Los Angeles DMC Finals, 2002 World Records Final 4, and 2014 Los Angeles DMC Regional 3rd Place, 2015 Battle Ave Scratch Invitational, 2018 DMC Los Angeles Finals, 2018 DMC Online World...
DJ Xist has also been spinning night clubs throughout the Los Angeles Area, and Ventura County since the early 90's as well as traveling around the United States and various international countries. DJ Xist is known for his diverse style, seamless blends, and rare selection. TV Show appearances include MTV's Hip-Hop Show, Revolt TV (1s and Tuesdays), AXS TV Live On Direct TV, and a Turntablist showcase w/ brother DJ P-Trix on the Ricki Lake Show.
